Big Rain

Well the color of the clouds is just depressing me.
And the barometric pressure’s been oppressing me.
Now Noah’s eyes would seem to be undressing me.
There won’t be no pain when the big rain washes over me.

Big rain wash over me.

Well the distant thunder rolls its tolls forebodingly.
And the Fahrenheit’s been messing with the mercury.
A lightning bolt just blew up my whole family tree.
There won’t be no stain when the big rain washes over me.

Big rain, wash over me.

Now April is a month known for her cruelty.
Always waking up the sleeping dead inside of me.
Her showers lead to swollen seeds of ecstasy.
Just gonna let ’em drain when the big rain washes over me

Big rain, wash over me.
